Hello everyone, and welcome to our first blog post. Starting up a blog for the band has been something we have been meaning to do for a long time, but just hadn't gotten around to. Well, the new year seems as a good a time as any, so here we go.
2008 was a great year for us. We finished recording our new record, which was a sometimes fun, sometimes exasperating process. We played the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas for the first time ever, which was super rad. We got singed to Devil in the Woods records, which was also super rad. We played a ton of shows, including a really great tour of the Pacific Northwest, that I think was the most fun mini-tour the band has ever done.
2009 should be cool too. Our new album "Hover" comes out Feb 10. Look for more news and happenings from us at this blog, and whatever other random stuff we feel like posting about.

I'm so excited for you guys. It used to depress me that you weren't signed and famous and stuff. It was like, "Well, if hard work, talent, and putting out amazing records isn't enough to make it in the music biz, why am I even trying".
